Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
1. Set the Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Add the olive oil, onion, and garlic, and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the ground beef and seasonings (oregano, basil, thyme, salt, pepper). Cook until the beef is browned, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, and bay leaf. Stir to combine.
4. Secure the lid on the Instant Pot, making sure the valve is set to sealing. Set the pressure to high and cook for 15 minutes.
5. When the cooking time is finished, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release the remaining pressure.

Notes
