Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. Add the chuck roast to the pot and season it with salt and pepper. Sear the roast on all sides until it is golden brown. Remove the roast from the pot and set it aside.

3. To the same pot, add the garlic, carrots, celery, and onion. Sauté the vegetables for 3-4 minutes, or until they begin to soften.

4. Pour the Campbell's Tavern Soup, beef broth, red wine, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce over the vegetables. Stir to combine.

5. Return the roast to the pot and nestle it down into the vegetables and liquid. Cover the pot with a lid or aluminum foil.
