Ingredients
- 4 lbs bone-in short ribs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 bay leaves
Instructions
- Season short ribs with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in Instant Pot on Saute mode. Add short ribs and brown on all sides.
- Remove short ribs and set aside. Add onion and garlic to Instant Pot. Saute until onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and bay leaves and stir to combine.
- Return short ribs to Instant Pot. Lock lid and set timer to 60 minutes.
- When timer goes off, allow pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes. Then quick release remaining pressure.
- Carefully remove short ribs from Instant Pot and serve.

Notes
