Prep Time

This recipe requires only 10 minutes of prep time. You'll need to gather your ingredients, season the pork ribs and set the Instant Pot. After that, you're ready to cook!

Cook Time

Once you have your Instant Pot set up, the pork ribs will cook in only 25 minutes. That's right, 25 minutes! This is a great recipe for those busy nights when you don't have a lot of time to cook.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. Start by seasoning the pork ribs. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the pork ribs.

2. Heat the oil in the Instant Pot on the “saute” setting. Add the pork ribs to the pot and cook for 5 minutes, flipping them halfway through.

3. Pour in the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Lock the lid and set the Instant Pot to “manual” and set the timer to 25 minutes.

4. Once the timer goes off, allow the Instant Pot to naturally release the pressure for 10 minutes. After that, carefully open the lid and remove the pork ribs. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Instant Pot
  • Small bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Tongs

Notes

If you have an 8-quart Instant Pot, you may need to double the ingredients. Also, if you don't have an Instant Pot, you can cook the pork ribs in the oven at 375°F for 40-45 minutes.

Recipe Tips

If you want to add some extra flavor to your pork ribs, try adding some fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme to the seasoning mix. You can also add some chopped fresh garlic to the Instant Pot before cooking the pork ribs. If you want to add some sweetness to the dish, try adding a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the cooking liquid.

If you want to keep the pork ribs juicy, let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to settle and the ribs to stay tender. If you want to make the ribs even more flavorful, try brushing them with some barbecue sauce before serving.
